One good reason to get a free sim card for the Orange Mobile network is so that you can take advantage of the Orange Wednesdays 241 cinema ticket offer.
If you already use the Orange mobile network then this doesn’t apply, but if you are on another network and want to take advantage of the 241 cinema offer then you will need an Orange simcard.
The Orange 241 cinema offer runs every Wednesday and all you need to do to use it is text the word ‘film’ to 241 (which costs 25p). A unique code will then be generated and texted back to your mobile phone.
Then all you need to do is show the cashier the code when you are buying your tickets at the cinema and the discount will be applied to your tickets.
Since the text message will cost 25p it does mean that you will need to have credit on the sim card. Free sim card offers vary from promotion to promotion, sometimes they come with credit on the sim and sometimes they don’t you need to read the offers terms and conditions.
